Billing & Plans
How ARCY plans, the 14-day trial, the 30-day money-back guarantee, credits, and the billing page work.
ARCY has three plans, one price each: Convert at $249/month, Activate at $749/month, and Intelligence at $1,497/month. There is no usage-based pricing, no overage, and no annual billing during the beta. Enterprise is a contact-sales arrangement with a custom credit ceiling and negotiated terms.
Every plan is the same product. The plans differ on how much of it you can use: credits, seats, tracked events, training Sources and flows. No capability is locked behind a higher plan.
The 14-day trial and the 30-day guarantee
Both run, and they cover different halves of the decision.
The trial is 14 days at your plan's full entitlements, started by going through checkout. It begins at checkout, with a card, and nothing is charged until it ends. Nothing is reduced during it: the same credits, the same caps, the same features. It exists so you can install the script, send attributes, and see real telemetry before paying anything.
We tell you before it ends. If you do nothing, the trial expires and the workspace stops serving rather than charging you: nothing is billed automatically at the end of a trial. Subscribing at any point picks up where you left off, and your dashboard data is still there.
A workspace that has never gone through checkout has no trial and no subscription. It can sign in and look around, but the ARCY widget does not serve until it subscribes.
The guarantee covers the first paid month. If ARCY has not shown you something worth paying for within 30 days of your first payment, email contact@arcyai.com and we refund that payment in full. It runs once per organization, from the start of your first paid period, and a refund cancels the subscription and lapses the workspace.
Credits
Credits are ARCY's usage ceiling, not a price. A chat turn bills 1 credit and a micro-insight bills 10. Credits reset at the start of every billing period.
When your credits run out, AI responses pause for the rest of the period and your end users see a graceful fallback. Nothing is ever charged beyond your fixed monthly price. Upgrading applies the larger allowance to the current period immediately. If you regularly outgrow Intelligence, contact sales about an Enterprise ceiling.
Why your reset date can differ from your renewal date. Changing plan partway through a period keeps your existing credit period rather than starting a new one, so an upgrade cannot hand you two allowances inside one paid month. When that happens the Usage page shows the credit reset date and the billing page shows the renewal date.
The billing page
Settings > Billing (admins only) shows everything in one place:
- Your current plan, price, and renewal date, updated the instant a checkout completes.
- Plan comparison and checkout, embedded in the page. Enterprise appears as the last plan card, with a route to sales.
- Manage subscription, one button that opens everything else: plan changes, payment method, past invoices, and cancellation. Nothing navigates away.
The billing page does not show how much of your plan you have used. That lives on Settings > Usage, under Plan limits, so there is one place to check rather than two that can disagree. The one exception is a warning banner when your credits run out, because a paused widget needs an answer on the page you are already on.

A crawled site counts as one training Source, however many pages it indexes. Every plan crawls up to 2,000 pages per Source.
Caps apply when you create something, never afterwards. If a plan change leaves you over a new cap, everything you already built keeps working: existing members keep their access, existing flows keep running for your end users, and existing Sources keep grounding the agent. Only the next create is refused, until you delete something or change plan.
Limits
Settings > Limits (admins only) lets you set your own ceilings on top of the plan limits above, tighter than your plan's monthly allowance:
- Organization cap (30 days) - a rolling 30-day credit ceiling for the whole workspace. When it's hit, the ARCY agent is hidden from your widget entirely until the window rolls forward. Use this to protect your monthly budget from a spike.
- Per-user cap (daily) - a rolling 24-hour credit ceiling per identified end user. When one user hits it, they get a reply explaining they've reached their daily limit; everyone else is unaffected. Use this to stop one abusive or runaway user from burning your allowance.
- Anonymous pool cap (30 days) - a rolling 30-day credit pool shared by every visitor who hasn't been identified yet. Defaults to 30% of your plan's allowance and can't be raised above it. When the pool is exhausted, the agent is hidden for anonymous visitors only; identified users are unaffected.
- Anonymous per-browser cap (daily) - a rolling 24-hour credit ceiling per anonymous browser, same asymmetry as the per-user cap: that visitor gets an explanation, nobody else is affected. Every cap is optional. Leave a field blank for Unlimited (no ceiling beyond the plan itself).
Question length is not one of these settings. Every app accepts up to 10,000 characters in a question, and the widget stops typing there, so there is nothing to configure and nothing for an end user to run into by surprise.
Payment issues
If a payment fails, service continues while the billing page shows a banner with a direct path to fix your payment method. Service only stops if the subscription ultimately ends, at which point the workspace lapses and subscribing again restores it. A lapsed workspace keeps its dashboard access and all of its history.
